How to Test Open Banking Payments in the Demo Environment

How to simulate Open Banking payments in the demo environment using different banks

LHV Open Banking (EE)

  1. Select LHV EE on the payment method selection page

  2. You will be redirected to LHV’s login page

  3. Select Sandbox and click Log in

  4. On the next screen, click From account, choose an account

  5. Choose Smart-ID and click Confirm

  6. The payment will complete automatically


Swedbank Open Banking

  1. Choose Swedbank from the payment method list

  2. You will be redirected to Swedbank’s login page

  3. Under PIN-calculator, enter both User ID and Password as 123456. Click Enter

  4. On the next screen, select Myself in the Select Customer field and click Submit

  5. Select an IBAN from the account list and sign using the chosen signing method

  6. The payment will complete automatically


SEB Open Banking

  1. Select SEB on the payment method selection page

  2. You’ll be redirected to SEB’s login page

  3. Enter ibsUser1 and click Proceed

  4. Click Agree and Continue

  5. Enter ibsUser1 again and click Proceed

  6. Select an account, click Continue, then Confirm

  7. Click Back to provider to return to the merchant site


Luminor Open Banking

  1. Click Luminor in the payment method selection page

  2. You’ll be redirected to Luminor’s login page

  3. Select Smart-ID and click Log in

  4. Enter the username based on the country:

    • Luminor LT: 111111

    • Luminor LV: 222222

    • Luminor EE: 333333

  5. Choose an account and click Sign with Smart-ID

  6. The payment will complete automatically


Artea Bankas Open Banking

  1. Select Artea Bankas on the payment method selection page

  2. You’ll be redirected to the Šiaulių Bankas sandbox login page. Click Log in

  3. Click Confirm

  4. Select an account and click Confirm again.

  5. The payment will complete automatically


Revolut Open Banking

Use below amounts to test out the flow:

  • xx.10 - Payment initiation correct = Payment "Settled"

  • xx.30 - Payment initiation correct = Payment "Sent for Processing"

  • Anything Else - Payment initiation failed = Payment "Failed"

  1. Click Revolut on the payment method selection page

  2. On the login page:

    • Leave the country code as +44

    • Enter mobile number 7250526671

    • Click Continue

  3. Enter the passcode: 0000

  4. A 6-digit code will be pre-filled. Click Continue

  5. On the payment request screen, click Authorise

  6. An “Access granted” message will briefly appear
